Dr. Taylor Hoffman is a board certified optometrist and is also certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. He is an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Indiana Optometric Association.
Dr. Hoffman grew up in McCordsville, IN and graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School in 2006. He attended DePauw University and earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology while lettering four years on the baseball team. After a summer internship at a local private practice, he discovered he wanted to change his future career path and pursue a career in optometry. He graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2016 with a Doctorate of Optometry degree. He spent 7 years in private practices in Jasper, IN and Lebanon, IN.
Dr. Hoffman and his wife, Betsy, were married in 2010 and have been blessed with five children: Mary, Maximilian, Adam, Clare, and Thomas. They are active parishioners at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hoffman can be found volunteering his time, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying a few hobbies. He volunteers his optometric services at the Trinity Free Clinic on the campus of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. He also enjoys getting out in the community through school screenings and by coaching youth baseball and football. At home he can be found playing in the yard with his kids, working on a home improvement project, or watching The Office. He enjoys attending sporting events and concerts.
